Recap of Harvick’s visit to Bristol

To the best of our knowledge, Kevin Harvick did not trade paint with any ESPN employees leaving the Bristol parking lot bound for Miami.

But NASCAR’s No. 29 did finish a four-hour Car Wash Wednesday, appearing on various platforms before the Sprint Cup Chase For The Cup season finale Sunday (ESPN, 2 p.m. ET).

He completed the day speaking to NASCAR Now‘s Mike Massaro (pictured at left in the gallery above) and Ricky Craven (pictured right) in the afternoon.

Shortly before 1 p.m. ET, Harvick visited with SportsCenter anchor John Buccigross.

Harvick is third in the Chase standings behind Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart, the only contenders remaining for the Sprint Cup title.

In the SportsCenter interview, he discussed his strategy should he have a chance to decide the title.

What does the future hold for Harvick?

During an ESPN.com chat, Harvick said that his team will have a different look in 2012.

Robert Duckworth (Gainesville, Ga.)
what do you feel that you need to improve on the most in order to get your first Cup Series Championship?

Kevin Harvick (10:01 AM)
There is a lot of changes coming over the offseason. Obviously, we have a lot of things changing with the amount of teams we have. There will be definitely be some changes in the offseason. The extent, I don’t know yet.

Let’s hope he’ll keep his “dry” sense of humor and continue to appear in ESPN ads.
