With just more than a week until the 2014 NFL Draft, the countdown to pro football’s annual “Player Selection Meeting” is well underway.

ESPN will televise the draft from start to finish over three days, May 8-10 – including two nights in prime time – and there is plenty of other content to get fans ready for the biggest event of the NFL offseason.

Daily “SportsCenter Special: On the Clock” shows air throughout the next week and half in addition to the usual NFL Insiders (3:30 p.m. ET) and NFL Live (4 p.m.). Other highlights include Gruden’s QB Camp, the new Draft Academy series, a Mel Kiper and Todd McShay Mock Draft special (Thursday, May 1, at 8 p.m.), and a slew of NFL Draft prospect visits this week, including two-time BCS National Champion quarterback A.J. McCarron of Alabama visiting the ESPN campus and appearing on shows today.

Today, ESPN also launches its 2014 NFL Draft ad campaign with a 30-second spot featuring several top players: quarterbacks Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M), Blake Bortles (Central Florida) and Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville), as well as Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins and South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, whom most experts grade as the top player in this year’s draft class. All five players participated in photo shoots with ESPN’s draft production team at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis in February.

The promo spot (above) includes images from those shoots, high-end graphics and highlights of each player from his college career. The video is paired with John Newman’s hit song “Try” from the English singer’s debut studio album, Tribute.

So, get ready. The draft is coming.
