Praise for ESPN’s coverage of U.S.’s World Cup win over Ghana
Monday’s pulse-pounding victory by the U.S. Men’s National team over Ghana in its first match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup averaged a 6.3 US HH rating and 11,093,000 viewers. It was the highest-rated and most-viewed men’s soccer match – including 265 contests from the FIFA World Cup – on ESPN or ESPN2 on record, according to Nielsen.
