Palmer adds to analyst role with GMA assignment

Jesse Palmer has been contributing to ESPN’s College Football coverage as an analyst since 2007. He has called the ESPN College Football Primetime Thursday game since 2008, sharing a booth with Rece Davis and David Pollack the last three years.

This morning on ABC, former ESPN SportsCenter anchor Robin Roberts officially welcomed college football analyst Jesse Palmer to the Good Morning America team. Jesse, who has become a familiar face at GMA and across ABC News, is officially joining GMA as a Special Contributor.

In this new role, he will focus on big stories for the show’s second hour as well as news of day and signature big live events throughout the show.

He will continue his role on ESPN and SEC Network as lead college football game analyst, lending his insight and opinion throughout the season on ESPN’s numerous programs. Jesse has been a fixture in the network’s extensive coverage of college football since 2007 and a frequent contributor across ABC shows.
