FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – For the 23rd consecutive year, ESPN will present the semifinals and championship game as part of the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship Weekend. The semifinals begin today on ESPN2, with Towson facing No. 3 seed Ohio State (noon ET), followed by No. 5 Denver facing top-seeded Maryland (2:30 p.m.). The winners will advance to play in the championship title game on Memorial Day, Monday May 29, at 1 p.m.

Front Row got a behind-the-scenes look at this weekend’s preparation from Gillette Stadium, speaking with men’s commentators Anish Shroff, who is calling his first championship weekend, Quint Kessenich, Paul Carcaterra and women’s analyst Sheehan Stanwick-Burch, as well as senior coordinating producer John Vassallo.

Stanwick-Burch, a former Georgetown standout, along with play-by-play commentator John Brickley and sideline reporter Halley Quillinan, a former Syracuse star, will be on the call for the women’s championship, featuring Boston College facing No. 1 Maryland on Sunday, May 28, at 11 a.m. on ESPNU.
