Kareem White

Sport Specialties: NFL, College Football, NBA About Me: My government-given birth name is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar White. Yes you read it correctly. I am named after the former Lakers/Bucks/UCLA Bruins legend. I joined the ESPN Production Research staff in April 2007. Before coming to the World Wide Leader, I worked for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Denver Broncos in the media relations/community relations department. \ I received my undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism from Florida A&M University (FAMU) in 1997 and my Master’s degree from Florida State University in 2003. I have moved around a bunch, kind of like a gypsy. I have worked at the Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, two Super Bowls (XXXV, XXXIX) and a BCS Title Game. I have more nicknames than middle names (and that’s a lot) and was born and raised in Bradenton, Fla. Some of the shows I work on are: NFL Live, Winner’s Bracket, SportsCenter and Mike & Mike in the Morning.
