This is how you throw a viewing party.

Soccer fans of all persuasions demonstrated their fervor for the sport Tuesday in New York’s Times Square.

It was the site of an espnW viewing party for the U.S. Women’s World Cup team’s opening match against North Korea.

While Team USA scored a 2-0 victory aired live on the Super Sign, on the streets below fans got expert instruction in soccer skills and played pickup games.
