If Matt Davis’ future foes watched his performance in the Champion® Gridiron Kings event Sunday, they should worry.

The Klein Forest High (Houston, Texas) quarterback seems to be fully recovered from his torn ACL injury that cost him most of the 2010 season.

Davis completed the first 18 passes he attempted in pacing the Southwest team to a 29-13 victory over the Midwest in the championship game of the tournament.

He was named the offensive MVP of the 7-on-7 event featuring 64 of the nation’s top high school football players, one of the highlights of the recently concluded RISE Games at ESPN Wide World Of Sports Complex.
