Mike & Mike producer Chapman on making the show during SB Week

INDIANAPOLIS — As producer of ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike In The Morning, Liam Chapman has a job that combines pressure and fun.

Every week, he and his colleagues work to line up an all-star array of guests to discuss a variety of sports subjects.

But this week, the spotlight was more intense as the show set up its home at Pan Am Plaza in the middle of Super Bowl XLVI festivities.

In the video above, Chapman shares with Front Row his thoughts about some of the guests, his history with the show, and the camaraderie involved in producing the program.

On Sunday from 6-10 a.m. ET on ESPN Radio and ESPNRadio.com, Mike & Mike will air a Super Bowl special edition of the program.

The simulcast also will air on ESPN2 from 6-9 a.m. and on ESPNews for the remaining hour.

The special will include not only highlights of the past week in Indianapolis, but other guests include Monday Night Football analyst and Super Bowl winning coach Jon Gruden, NFL Live analyst Herm Edwards and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

By the way, here are the show hosts’ Super Bowl XLVI predictions:

Mike Golic picks the Giants, 24-20: “Right now the Giants are playing better than the Patriots, and I think they’re a more balanced team. It could come down to who has the ball last, but I have a lot of faith in Eli [Manning] if they have the ball last to do what he did in Week 9 against the Patriots.”

Mike Greenberg picks the Giants, 34-20: “I like the Giants in a big way — a big way for Big Blue. They are the healthier team, and that’s the most important factor. They’re the hotter team, and, frankly, they’re the better team. I like the Giants and I don’t think it’s that close.”
