Tuesday evening, ESPN’s Outside The Lines reported that Major League Baseball will seek to suspend about 20 players — including stars Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun — connected to a Miami-area clinic at the center of performance-enhancing drug investigations.
ESPN will have continuing coverage all day across all platforms and Wednesday’s Outside the Lines (ESPN, 3 p.m. ET) will dedicate an hourlong show to the story. Additionally, reporter John Barr will be at Yankee Stadium for today’s 1 p.m. game and reporter Shelley Smith is in Milwaukee for its 2 p.m. game.
The initial report has spurred plenty of social media discussion. Front Row has produced this Storify to sample reaction.
