Meet members of ESPN Deportes and ESPN International teams covering FIFA World Cup
RIO DE JANEIRO – ESPN’s coverage of 2014 FIFA World Cup would not be possible without great teamwork across platforms and departments. Meet some of the people working for the ESPN Deportes and International production teams who, like members of ESPN’s U.S. Domestic unit, help gather and transmit the pictures, words and sounds of the World Cup.
Paulo Vinicius Coelho – Analyst, ESPN Brazil
Known as Brazil’s “football encyclopedia,” Paulo is ESPN Brazil’s lead analyst, working his fifth World Cup.

Gisela Leyva – Coordinating Producer, ESPN International / ESPN Deportes
Gisela has been planning for World Cup for the past two years. She leads ESPN International and Deportes planning, content and logistics for all fútbol coverage. It is her second World Cup for ESPN.

Fabiano Mosqueira – Remote Events Supervisor, ESPN Brazil
Fabiano is assigned to cover the Seleção (Brazil’s national team).

Gaston Menendez – Coordinating Producer II, ESPN Sur (in Argentina)
Gaston leads ESPN Sur’s production team for World Cup planning, content and logistics. It is his third World Cup for ESPN.

Diego is providing technical and operations support for ESPN Sur’s news and information coverage of the World Cup.

Regiane Wohnrath – Production Supervisor, ESPN Brazil
Regiane has been on loan from the Brazil team the past two years to help ESPN’s overall World Cup production operations team. A member of the planning group, she is working with Remote Production Operations at the host set. It is her fifth World Cup.

“Yoyo” leads the Comex project, which involves a unique content segment pairing ESPN Mexico & Fox Sports Mexico. He also coordinates segments and shows from Rio with the production team in ESPN’s Mexico City studios.
