ESPN and sports panels: Whitlock on website; McKendry, Durant and SBJ’s “Gamechangers”

ESPN encourages the discussion of sports issues internally and externally. Two sports panels, depicted in the images that follow, illustrate that.

Today on the Bristol, Conn. campus, ESPN’s P.U.L.S.E Employee Resource Group hosted a Town Hall session with Jason Whitlock and Amy DuBois Barnett regarding an upcoming ESPN website that the two will oversee and manage. Whitlock, the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the site, was the primary speaker; Barnett, the site’s executive editor, also answered questions from the audience.

Also today at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square, ESPN Vice President, College Sports Programming, Rosalyn Durant and SportsCenter anchor Chris McKendry were among the featured speakers on the Sports Business Journal’s “The Intersection of Women and Sports” panel.
