Halloween is upon us and so are two highly-anticipated games of the 2014-15 NBA On ESPN season’s opening week. In this photo gallery, see tonight’s doubleheader matchups on ESPN depicted in carved pumpkins, as well as some other familiar “faces.”

ESPN’s marketing team enlisted creative agency Wieden + Kennedy New York and Brooklyn-based Maniac to carve pumpkins depicting some of the biggest NBA stars – even some past standouts representing the “scariest defenders.” Depicted clockwise from right: former NBA stars Bill Laimbeer, Ben Wallace, Dennis Rodman, Dikembe Mutombo and current Chicago Bulls standout Joakim Noah.
