The Royals are coming! The Royals are coming!

Major League Baseball’s runner-up Kansas City Royals?

Nope.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are making their first visit to New York City and one of the stops will be Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for Monday night’s game between Cleveland and Brooklyn.

With all that royalty in one place – King James, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and potentially Jay-Z and Beyonce – SportsCenter will have its own reporting royalty, Jeremy Schaap, at the arena throughout the day.

In the Front & Center podcast above, Schaap shows his vast Anglophile knowledge and even takes a six-question British history quiz (he basically aces it, as you’d expect).

Catch Schaap’s live reports – and an essay on the visit – throughout the afternoon and evening on SportsCenter and see what Brooklyn fans told Reese Waters they are looking forward to with all this royalty in their city.

EDITOR’S NOTE: Sunday outside the Barclays Center, ESPN’s Reese Waters asked fans which royalty they are more excited to see, Will and Kate or LeBron James. Producer Allison Dodek captured the behind-the-scenes photos below from the feature running on SportsCenter today.
