Social media was abuzz Monday with ESPN’s coverage of the first College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T as Ohio State defeated Oregon 42-20. The telecast generated a 18.5 overnight rating, the highest metered market ever for ESPN according to Nielsen.
