DESTIN, Fla. – Led in two groups by either Kentucky’s John Calipari or Alabama’s Avery Johnson, all 14 SEC men’s basketball coaches challenged their Big 12 counterparts to shoot a free throw, raising money for cancer research and the Jimmy V Foundation during the SEC Spring Meetings. In addition, Coach Cal personally issued challenges to Michael Kidd, Terrence Jones, Anthony Davis, Brandon Knight and Patrick Patterson. Coach Johnson also challenged Gregg Popovich, Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson, Mike Breen and the entire Alabama team to #VThrows.
