WNT visits GMA prior to Saturday match on ESPN

The USA Women’s National Team visited co-host Robin Roberts and ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday in Central Park and also heard singer Ed Sheeran perform.

In advance of the U.S. Women’s National Team’s last “international friendly” before competing in the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, the squad visited ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday morning. The show was set in New York City’s Central Park to feature singer Ed Sheeran, who performed as part of GMA’s “Summer Concert Series.”

The national team’s friendly match versus South Korea airs Saturday from Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J. on ESPN beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET. The team begins play in the World Cup on June 8 against Australia in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Visit espnW for more Women’s World Cup coverage.
