Donovan Hill, who was paralyzed making a tackle during a 2011 Pop Warner youth football game, attended last night’s ESPYS.
“It was such a special night! We sat at Russell Wilson’s table, and it turns out Russell visited Donovan in the hospital and was thrilled to see him,” ESPN’s Shelley Smith said. “At one point Donovan said, ‘I’m sitting with Brett Favre on one side and Derek Jeter on the other.’ His mom went out and danced – she was so happy, he was so happy. He loved Ciara – who didn’t?”
