Behind The Glasses: And he’s off. . . #SCSVP kicks off in fine fashion

Last night’s SportsCenter following Ohio State’s 42-24 win over Virginia Tech on ESPN had a different look and feel than viewers are used to for the network’s flagship show. That’s because it marked the debut of the midnight SportsCenter hosted alone by Scott Van Pelt (#SCSVP) and featured completely different lighting as well as a new positioning for the anchor desk, in the center of the set.

With a steady flow of positive Twitter reaction and a very special first guest, Dan Patrick, the first night of SVP’s new show was a resounding success.

This gallery shares some behind the scenes photos from last night taken by both ESPN Images and Front Row’s Michael Skarka. More #SCSVP coverage.
