The new midnight (ET) edition of ESPN SportsCenter hosted by Scott Van Pelt launches on Sept. 7 with a different look, feel and sound than other editions of ESPN’s signature news and information program, and music will be a large part of the difference. A special new cut of the SportsCenter theme produced by Timbaland in collaboration with Jingle Jared for jingle punks will be music to the ears of viewers. ESPN producer Sharon Matthews and Van Pelt recently visited with Timbaland in Miami to create a video that will air in the opening show.
