At the Noche de Periodistas NAHJ Journalism Awards, ESPN and ESPN Deportes landed four awards: The Presidential Award for Excellence to ESPN for One Nación; Series – Multimedia Award for The Fight of the Century on ESPN Deportes Digital; Presentation/Design – Multimedia Award for Cuba – ESPN Digital; and the Elaine Rivera Civil Rights & Social Justice Award – ESPN The Magazine, “While the World Watched.”
ESPN was once again part of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Excellence in Journalism (EIJ) Conference that took place Sept. 18-20 in Orlando, Fla.
The company was well-represented by a dozen employees who participated in panel discussions, recruited potential colleagues and took part on a special candidate reception hosted by GOAL!, the company’s Hispanic/Latino ERG.
