The start of the football seasons has meant the return to ESPN of most of cable television’s biggest audiences — non-Donald Trump division.

ESPN has had the biggest audiences in all of television each of the three nights of Monday Night Football and college football is off to a sizzling start with ratings up 32 percent. In fact, in the last 12 months, ESPN/ESPN2 have delivered 50 of the top 75 audiences for sports events on cable.

ESPN Executive Vice President of Programming and Scheduling, Burke Magnus, observes: “Glance at this list and you see a clear demonstration of ESPN’s leadership position and the enduring appeal of live sports. From college and pro football in the fall, the NBA and NFL Draft in the spring and the Home Run Derby in the summer, ESPN presents cable’s biggest and best sports lineup, consistently delivering the most value to sports fans.”
