Scott Van Pelt, anchor of the midnight edition of SportsCenter, is a fan of classic hip-hop. With the legendary act A Tribe Called Quest celebrating the 25th anniversary of its album “People’s Instinctive Travels And The Paths of Rhythm” with a re-release Nov. 13, it was only natural group member Phife Dawg would visit Van Pelt to talk music and sports on SportsCenter Nov. 12. Here are a few behind-the-scenes photos:
Phife Dawg made a pitstop in Bristol yesterday while promoting the rap group’s 25th anniversary album re-release.
Phife Dawg admires the ESPN “Quote Wall.”
Planning on starting his own sports podcast in the future, Phife Dawg sat down with SportsCenter anchor Scott Van Pelt to discuss the Knicks’ start to the season and more.
