Gruden Huddle Room now part of the Moffitt Cancer Center

The Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa is a major recipient of V Foundation for Cancer Research grants. As recently as July, The Kay Yow Cancer Fund®, in partnership and collaboration with The V Foundation, presented a $1.25 million ovarian cancer research grant to the Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute during the 2015 ESPYS.

On Thursday, one of ESPN’s most popular commentators lent his own support to Moffitt as Monday Night Football analyst Jon Gruden and his wife, Cindy, helped dedicate the Gruden Huddle Room at the new Moffitt McKinley Outpatient Center in Tampa.

The Gruden Huddle Room honors the Grudens for their dedication and generosity to the Moffitt Cancer Center. The space will be used to conduct multispecialty tumor boards, which bring cancer experts from surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology and more to review each patient’s case to determine the best personalized approach to treatment.
