Tencent joins hands with ESPN in exclusive digital partnership in China

Tencent, one of China’s and the world’s leading providers of online products and services, has reached an agreement with ESPN.

ESPN International Managing Director and EVP of International Russell Wolff spoke at an ESPN and Tencent ceremony and press conference in Beijing, China to announce a groundbreaking new deal with Tencent, ESPN’s new exclusive digital partner in China through QQ.com. ESPN will have its own section in China’s leading digital sports portal, QQ sports, which boasts 280 million daily active users.

ESPN and Tencent executives celebrate their landmark digital partnership which will include ESPN content like NBA, international soccer, NCAA Men’s Basketball and X Games content for QQ.com and Tencent News platforms.
