ESPN PULSE ERG on Rise Up: A SportsCenter Special

On Monday, Feb. 22, the ESPN PULSE ERG (Employee Resource Group) held an open discussion surrounding the Black History Month program Rise Up: A SportsCenter Special. SportsCenter anchor Jay Harris, who also celebrated his birthday that day, served as moderator with panelists: Kelley Carter, Michael Fountain, Galen Gordon, Sharon Matthews and Alison Overholt. The 60-minute event provided an opportunity for employees to learn more about the show’s concept, ask questions and share feedback. Rise Up: A SportsCenter Special is scheduled to re-air Saturday, Feb. 28, at 9 a.m. (ESPNEWS) and Sunday, Feb. 28, at 5 a.m. and 11 p.m. (ESPN2).
