Villanova’s pulse-pounding 77-74 victory over North Carolina to claim the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Division I Championship on Monday resonated with millions of fans.
The Wildcats’ Kris Jenkins’ game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer countered the Tar Heels’ Marcus Paige’s acrobatic game-tying trey just moments before. ESPN commentators and reporters at NRG Stadium in Houston, on the Villanova and North Carolina campuses and elsewhere took to social media to join the conversation Monday night and this morning.

Best ending to a championship game I have ever seen. 1 st buzzer beater since Lorenzo Charles in 1983. Incredible game.

For ESPN and SEC Network reporter Kaylee Hartung, reporting from Villanova’s campus in Pennsylvania, the postgame scene provided more intrigue . . .
I just realized I parked my rental car across the intersection where all of Villanova is celebrating…. And then I found out it was towed
