Emceed by espnW writer and ESPN Radio host Sarah Spain, a native Chicagoan, the one-day conference included discussions, presentations and activities geared towards advancing the agenda of women in sports and focused around the “Make an Impact” theme. espnW’s Julie Foudy and SportsCenter: Coast to Coast host Cari Champion moderated several panels and ESPN executives including Senior Vice President, espnW & Women’s Initiatives, Laura Gentile; Editor-in-Chief, espnW & ESPN The Magazine Alison Overholt; Executive Vice President, Digital & Print, John Kosner; President, ESPN Global Sales & Marketing, Ed Erhardt; and Vice President, Women’s Sports Programming, Carol Stiff were in attendance.
