ESPN’s new Monday Night Football duo of Sean McDonough and Jon Gruden got together for the first time this week when they took the stage at ESPN’s Upfront presentation to advertisers in New York. They were joined by Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre, who will be inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio this summer.

McDonough, who was named the fifth play-by-play voice in MNF history last week, will make his Monday Night debut with Gruden on Aug. 7 when the Packers play the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL’s annual Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio.

Between now and then, McDonough already has plans this summer to get together with Gruden to study film at the Super Bowl-winning coach’s FFCA office in Tampa.

The gallery above includes photos from their appearance at the Upfront and from their publicity shoot with ESPN Images photographer Joe Faraoni after the show.
