ESPN celebrates Diwali; Negandhi to attend White House celebration

The celebration was held at ESPN’s North Campus.

ESPN celebrated Diwali last week. Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights and is one of the most celebrated holidays in Indian culture. The ESPN Employee Resource Group, ABLE (Asian Business Leaders of ESPN) shared the celebration at ESPN’s North Campus. The event was moderated by ESPN host and tennis analyst Prim Siripipat and featured UConn’s ThundeRaas, the traditional garba/raas dance group.

In continuing the Diwali celebration, SportsCenter anchor and Indian-American Kevin Negandhi will be attending the White House Diwali Reception tonight hosted by Vice President Joe Biden.
