SAN ANTONIO – The college football bowl world has gathered in the Alamo City this week for the annual Football Bowl Association (FBA) conference. ESPN currently televises 37 of the 41 bowl games, owning and operating 13 of them through the ESPN Events division based in Charlotte. The meetings provide an opportunity for ESPN Events staff from across the country to gather and collaborate in preparation for the upcoming football season.

ESPN Events participated in panels discussing utilizing technology to better serve fans, improving the bowl week experience for players, and delivering increased value to sponsors. Attendees were also able to meet and hear from former Texas head coach and current ESPN analyst Mack Brown, who delivered the keynote speech on Wednesday morning.

ESPN Events and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl will host the FBA conference in Boise next April.
