ESPN covers El Clásico Miami, Real Madrid vs. Barcelona

ESPN soccer commentators and company executives met the media in Miami at the “Legends Chat” as part of El Clásico coverage.

MIAMI – As soccer powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to clash in the first El Clásico to be held on U.S. soil this Saturday, July 29, at Hard Rock Stadium (7:55 p.m ET, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Deportes), ESPN hosted a “Legends Chat” on Thursday at the Perez Arts Museum.

Members of the global soccer media asked questions of ESPN and ESPN Deportes soccer commentators including FIFA World Cup Champion Mario Kempes, Real Madrid legend Hugo Sanchez, Trinidad & Tobago 2006’s FIFA World Cup goalkeeper Shaka Hislop and former Venezuelan national team player and MLS champion Alejandro Moreno.

They were joined by London-based ESPN FC writer Gab Marcotti; SVP, Programming and X Games, Scott Guglielmino; VP and GM, ESPN Deportes Freddy Rolon; and Fernando Palomo, ESPN Deportes soccer commentator, who served as moderator.
