Dallas Cowboys star officially retires, brings his insights to network
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten announced his retirement after 15 NFL seasons at a news conference in Frisco, Texas today. While addressing reporters, the 11-time Pro Bowler confirmed that he is joining ESPN as a member of the new Monday Night Football commentator team.
In addition to being one of the top tight ends in NFL history, Witten was the recipient of the 2012 Walter Payton Man of the Year award and he is one of the most respected players in the NFL.
