Star-studded Finebaum, SEC Nation shows kicked off the season in Charlotte backyard

CHARLOTTE – The Queen City is home to the SEC Network. Employees in ESPN’s Charlotte offices had the opportunity to work in their own backyard this past weekend for The Paul Finebaum Show and SEC Nation.

SEC Network took over Romare Bearden Park in uptown Friday and Saturday, and employees’ families and friends got a chance to get in on the fun. While Tennessee and West Virginia fans alike made signs to prove their fandom of their favorite team, the SEC Nation crew’s loved ones got to cheer on their family members and friends during the shows with signs of their own. The crew battled heat and your typical Southern rainstorms, but kicked off the first Saturday of SEC football in style.

In addition to the usual #FinebaumFriday and Saturday SEC Nation shows, the network introduced a new social show featuring Laura Rutledge, Tim Tebow and Marcus Spears, along with special guest, country star Kane Brown.

Kaila Burns-Heffner produced the video.
