Sunday’s “SC Featured” segment on SportsCenter will follow the story of Michigan defensive end Kwity Paye in the NFL Draft. Paye’s improbable journey to Ann Arbor and the draft began when he was born in a refugee camp in West Africa. “Long Way Home,” produced by Jon Fish and reported by Shelley Smith, will debut in the 8 a.m. hour and re-air in other editions of SportsCenter throughout the day.
In addition, ESPN staff writer Hallie Grossman profiled Paye and his family. Thursday during the 2021 NFL Draft’s first round in Cleveland, the Indianapolis Colts selected Paye with the 21st overall pick.

As I read this story by Elizabeth Merrill, I finally understood how Brooklyn Dodgers fans felt when they read The Boys of Summer. The ‘69 Mets, as they are …and as they’ll forever be. https://t.co/yDCeHro4LH

One of the best what-might-have-been oral histories I’ve read. As a forever-tortured Knicks fan, it’s one fun, details-rich tease and a reminder that the Knicks will always be the Knicks. Bravo, @AntOlivieri https://t.co/CZ04q3Tboi
