Celebrating Lisa Salters’ 10 Seasons on ESPN’s “Monday Night Football”

Part 2: The Art of the Sideline Report

Lisa Salters is the longest-tenured sideline reporter in Monday Night Football history with more than 150 assignments.

Tonight she’s at FedEx Field to report from the Washington Football Team’s game versus the visiting Seattle Seahawks (ESPN, 8 ET).

The versatile Salters also is a sideline reporter for NBA games on ESPN and ABC, as well as a co-host of the company’s award-winning E60 film and documentary series.

What’s behind the craft of sideline reporting? Who served as her mentors? How does she work with the MNF booth?

She reflects on those questions and more in Part 2 of this video series seen above. Last week in Part 1, Salters discussed how she got the MNF sideline reporting job and her 2012 debut.

Spencer Jackson and Derek Volner produced Part 2. Jon McLeod, Derek Volner and Spencer Jackson produced Part 1.
