NEW YORK – On Tuesday night, a trio of ESPNers – legendary college football analyst Lee Corso, ESPN founder Bill Rasmussen and innovative technical director Marc Herklotz – were inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame as members of the Class of 2025.

ESPN commentator Chris Fowler, who worked alongside Corso on College GameDay from 1990-2014, accepted the award on behalf of Corso, while Chris Berman, ESPN’s longest-tenured on-air voice, did the same for Rasmussen, as both ESPN legends were unable to attend in person. Herklotz, who earned four national Sports Emmy Awards and was at the center of some of ESPN’s biggest on-air moments for nearly 30 years, was inducted in the Technical Crafts category.

Corso, Rasmussen and Herklotz join a long list of ESPNers who have been inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame through the years, including the likes of former executives Steve Anderson and George Bodenheimer, and on-air voices like Berman, Hubie Brown, Bob Ley, Robin Roberts, Chris Mortensen and Dick Vitale. The ceremonies were conducted at the New York Hilton Hotel.
