Inside Sunday’s WWE ‘Clash in Italy’
This Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, ESPN will stream Clash in Italy — the first WWE Premium Live Event to emanate from “The Boot” — on the ESPN App for ESPN Unlimited plan subscribers.
WWE Superstars have appeared on virtually every ESPN platform this week to preview their respective matches at the “Clash.”
In addition to the WWE Superstar appearances, ESPN has also been producing distinct content for fans to become better acquainted with key WWE storylines.
Our goal is to bring WWE storylines to life within our content. Nostalgia is a big part of WWE fandom, and we want to give newer fans a head start by creating content that explains storylines from the past. These match-primer videos will continue to hit on the ‘must know’ information for fans heading into a PLE. No fan left behind!”
– Meghan Burgoon, ESPN Senior Director of Content Integration
