I've worked as an editor for ESPN.com since shortly after graduation. I’ve ruined the fortunes of several athletes and teams by showing interest in them or confidence in their abilities. Working on the copy and news desks for ESPN.com, I have to have broad knowledge of everything that is sports related. I edit everything from news on the NFL labor situation to blogs on mixed martial arts to items mixing sports and pop culture. If it is happening in the sports world (and beyond), I have to know about it.
