Barry Blyn

Barry Blyn

Barry Blyn is Vice President, Original Content & Brand Intelligence at ESPN. In his role, Blyn oversees a team focused in three areas: Audience analysis of ESPN’s original content across platforms, content development from “idea to airing” through research, and in-depth tracking and insights surrounding ESPN’s brand health. Since joining ESPN in 2008, Blyn developed and led the ESPN Brand Health Study, an in-depth brand story based on highly imaginative qualitative techniques and rigid quantitative research that chronicles the brand strengths and “peeks around the corner” at its potential weaknesses to ensure ESPN’s leadership is deeply immersed in fans’ view of the brand.
