My career at ESPN began four years ago when I was hired as a Coordinating Producer to oversee various ESPNews and SportsCenter shows. Now with ESPN's Enterprise Unit, I manage production of long-form investigative features for the award-winning show, "Outside the Lines." My job allows me to combine an interest in sports with the reporting and storytelling skills I have developed over a period of over 20 years as a journalist. Prior to ESPN, I was an investigative producer in various local television markets and have had the honor of being recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences with seven regional Emmy awards and also earned a regional Edward R. Murrow award. As an English Literature major in college and a product of local news markets, my path to ESPN has certainly been different than the ones most of my co-workers have taken. But, I have been fortunate to meet, and learn from, so many people with diverse backgrounds and experiences. It is one of the things that makes my job at ESPN so rewarding.
