Crystal Yang Edwards

Born and raised in Manhattan Beach, Calif., the salt water and sand have always been at the core of my being. In addition to surfing, snowboarding and playing beach volleyball, my days at UC Irvine were spent scouting bands, and booking and publicizing events. Never did I imagine that a career in sports and events would be a viable option. After four years at 20thCentury Fox in Theatrical Publicity, Licensing & Merchandising and syndication, I was lucky enough to land a spot with the X Games event PR team in 2004 doing what I loved most – action sports, events and PR. In 2011, I took a brief hiatus to work on the pro beach volleyball tour, Jamba Juice, Venus Williams, P90X’s Tony Horton and pro snowboarder Elena Hight before finding my way back to ESPN in 2013, where I was reunited with my dream team on the West Coast.
