Lots to love about U.S. Open

Eight days into the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, the event is delivering on its promise of drama and excitement.

ESPN’s various platforms will bring you the action going into championship play this weekend in Flushing, N.Y.

On the final day of the tournament, Sunday, Sept. 11, ESPN2 will televise live the women’s doubles championship at 1 p.m. ET, and will review all the action at 10 p.m. with a special two-hour edition of SportsCenter at The US Open.

What makes this Grand Slam so appealing?
