As the video above will show you, SportsCenter anchor Don Bell has quite an eye for not only sports highlights but also for photography, his long-time passion.
Two weeks ago in Hartford, an exhibit of Bell’s work debuted and will be on display through July 13. In addition to the Courant story linked previously, Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch also wrote about Bell’s off-camera endeavors (scroll to final item of column).
In the video, Bell (Twitter handle: @DonBellESPN) is interviewed by co-worker and immediate fan of his work, Prim Siripipat (@ESPNPrim) as they discuss how he got interested in photography, his subjects and what his nerves were like the night of the exhibit’s official opening.
