Dick Vermeil talks about his ties to ESPN’s Jaworski, Edwards and Musburger

Dick Vermeil was head coach of three NFL franchises – the Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams and Kansas City Chiefs – during his 15-year career. He coached in two Super Bowls, including Super Bowl XXXIV when the Rams captured the Lombardi Trophy.

The past two years, he’s led the National Team to victory in the NFL Players Association Collegiate Bowl all-star game. This Saturday in Carson, Calif., Vermeil returns to the sidelines to work with the draft-eligible players competing in the 2014 event (6 p.m. ET, ESPN2, WatchESPN).

In the video above, Vermeil talks about the game, his former Eagles players-turned-ESPN analysts Herm Edwards and Ron Jaworski, and what it was like to call ABC Sports college football years ago with Brent Musburger.
