Actor Kevin Costner, star of the new film “Draft Day,” visited ESPN’s Bristol, Conn. campus this week to promote the project that centers on the challenges facing his fictional Cleveland Browns executive as the NFL Draft arrives.
Costner also visited ESPN to get a sense of the company that’s “been a big part of my sporting life, my sporting I.Q.,” as he tells Front Row in the video above.
He left impressed with the company, campus and its people.
“Sometimes things don’t live up to what you want them to be. Sometimes they exceed expections,” Costner said. “That’s kind of what happened here at ESPN. This would be a cool job.”
Chris Berman, Jon Gruden and Mel Kiper, Jr. are among the ESPN employees who make cameos in “Draft Day,” which also co-stars Jennifer Garner and Denis Leary.
In the interview below, Berman, Gruden and Kiper share their thoughts on being involved in the project.
