The pitches that launched a $10,000 donation on SportsCenter

Here’s what happened when an afternoon tweet by a professional golfer (Zach Johnson) challenged another professional golfer (Jordan Spieth) to an MLB first pitch “pitch-off” where ESPN (SportsCenter) was asked to be the judge:
1. Twitter banter ensues.
2. SportsCenter anchors become pitch (and wardrobe) analysts.
3. Those same SportsCenter anchors then audition for the PGA Tour (sans sport jackets).
4. Spieth’s foundation enjoys an evening where it earns $10,000.
Perhaps it’s best explained through a sampling of the tweets.
@JordanSpieth pro, I'm throwing out first pitch at Cubs game tonight too. How about dinner on who throws better pitch? @espn decides? #heat

Hey, @JordanSpieth. Awesome pitch and all, but we still have our money on our guy @ZachJohnsonPGA. Either way, we will match that donation.

Funny. SportsCenter guys review ceremonial first pitch by Spieth and Johnson, shred Zach for dressing like a dentist. http://t.co/2mZJu1ah9f

THEN, knowing that turnabout is fair play, John Buccigross and John Anderson allowed the pros to critique their swings. (The Johns are not exactly hack golfers themselves, as it was revealed that they are the only two SC anchors to have par 4 holes-in-one.)
Anderson and I have a golf swing contest @ZachJohnsonPGA @JordanSpieth http://t.co/Nng8Wbyv1f
