THE LINEUP: ‘More Mamba Moments’ with Kobe, ESPN #KobesLastGame

To mark its 15th Anniversary in 2013, ESPN The Magazine revealed “Mag 15,” a double issue with an array of special features including a screenplay about Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant.

Where have the years gone? Kobe Bryant says farewell to his NBA career tonight on ESPN’s platforms (see sidebar below). Bryant has worked with ESPN in various ways over the years. <strong><center>NBA action on ESPN, ESPN2 tonight</center></strong>
Tonight, ESPN will be the home to some of the most significant games in NBA regular-season history. The Golden State Warriors will attempt to break the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ all-time wins record by going 73-9 this season as they host the Memphis Grizzles (10:30 p.m. ET, ESPN/WatchESPN). (ESPN’s telecast will be subject to local blackout in the Golden State Warriors’ television territory).
Simultaneously, ESPN2 will televise NBA icon Kobe Bryant’s final game as the Los Angeles Lakers host the Utah Jazz (10:30 p.m.) The game also will be available on WatchESPN. ESPN has day-long coverage and career retrospectives on various platforms.
Prior to the Golden State game, ESPN will televise the Miami Heat at Boston Celtics matchup at 8 p.m. in a matchup that could be a first-round playoff preview.
