ESPN’s “Journalism Showcase” – September 22, 2017

ESPN The Magazine’s senior writer Kevin Van Valkenburg wrote a piece on ESPN.com that also appears in ESPN The Magazine’s MLB Playoffs Issue about Seattle Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy. For the first time, Lacy opens up about being constantly mocked on social media for his struggles with his weight. In the video above, Van Valkenburg discusses why Lacy was so vulnerable with him.
