For two seasons, Jessica Mendoza and Aaron Boone sat side-by-side in the ESPN Sunday Night Baseball booth calling Major League Baseball’s exclusive, national game of the week. Upon hearing the news that “Boonie” had become the next manager of the New York Yankees, Mendoza shared her thoughts about her now former ESPN colleague in the video above. The Yankees will formally introduce Boone at a news conference on Wednesday at noon ET.
